At the time that I was learning monoprinting with paints for the first time, I was also reading Jack Halberstam's The Queer Art of Failure. This zine brings the two together - my first attempts at prints and quotes from Halberstam's book - as a way for me to think through the act of failing, as well as alternative ways of thinking, doing, and being.

The erosion of familial relationships, keeping controlled distance from your own roots, and seeing a bigger picture. Unfolds to reveal full print of house. 11 x 15 inches, edition of 24.

A 10 page (plus cover, front and back) critical essay about the connection between beauty and morality in the Alien film franchise through its use of xenomorphs, hybrids, and clones. Examines artworks as visual references, and includes drawings and diagrams to further illustrate ideas.
MR. CROW

Mr. Crow is a 14 page (plus cover) eerie story about overcoming the feeling of being blinded by guilt. It follows a woman who comes face to face with a surreal crow man when she answers a knocking at her door. This black and white story is both suspenseful and humorous.
