This book had damage along the spine, causing the boards to become loose and crooked.
The spine was cleaned up and reinforced, the bookcloth replaced, and the endpapers given a new hinge.
The corners of the boards were repaired to reduce wear and fraying.
This book was torn both along the spine and within each signature, causing the sewing to come loose.
The old thread was removed, each signature was guarded with japanese tissue, and the book was resewn. A new spine was made for the paper cover.
